3 Lucky Monkeys Hold & Win assigns three different jobs to its pots: Expand adds positions, Collect gathers coin values without removing the coins, and Boost raises eligible values except jackpot coins. The grid can grow from 5×3 to 5×5, changing the completion target.

Expand, Collect and Boost change different objects

Expand can enlarge the grid from 5×3 to 5×5. Collect gathers displayed coin values without removing the coins. Boost adds value to coins except jackpot coins. These are supplier-described mechanics, not names for three equivalent prizes. A clear explanation needs to identify which object changes: available space, collected value or existing coin values.

Direct entry, chance entry and respin resets

The official rules describe direct Hold & Win entry with six or more coins and a smaller trigger chance from two or more. The bonus starts with three spins; new coins restore the counter to three. That additional entry route matters when checking a demo clip: fewer than six coins do not automatically prove that the trigger is wrong.

Grand and Royal use different full-grid targets

Mini, Minor and Major come from their jackpot coins. Grand concerns the full classic grid; Royal concerns the fully expanded grid. The supplier states a 5,000x maximum. A full-looking thumbnail without its mode context is therefore poor evidence of which completion award occurred. Keep the grid size visible whenever documenting the result.

Fifteen positions and twenty-five positions are different targets

Mark the moment Expand changes the 5×3 grid to 5×5. A nearly filled original grid is not a completed expanded grid, and occupancy is not a prediction of the next coin. In a Collect event, retain the source coins in your diagram; in a Boost event, flag jackpot coins as excluded by the published rule.

An expanded grid changes the occupancy denominator

Someone who counts filled positions against the original fifteen-cell layout may miss the transition to a larger target. In a demo observation, note the moment the layout expands before describing progress. Do not convert “almost full” into a forecast; a visible occupancy ratio is not the probability of filling the remaining cells.

Entry modes and observations to record

Follow one collector event and check whether the source coins stay in place after collection. Then trace a Boost event separately, noting any excluded jackpot symbols. This is a reading exercise, not a completed Lupita play test or a promised strategy. Bought modes can begin with different power combinations, so comparisons should disclose the entry mode and displayed cost. Free demo credits let you inspect the accounting without making any claim about future paid-session returns.
