Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are browser-held values; local storage is a separate browser storage mechanism. Lupita uses both directly or through embedded services. Their purposes matter, not only the technology name.

Not all preference or history storage is automatically exempt from legal choice requirements. We describe its actual purpose rather than calling everything essential.
Analytics cookies
Our Google Analytics 4 tag can set _ga and a property-specific _ga_ cookie to distinguish users and sessions. Google's documented default lifetime is two years, subject to browser limits and configuration; this is not a guarantee that an individual browser retains them for that period. Analytics currently loads automatically without a consent popup unless a local opt-out or supported privacy signal prevents it. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. Our Privacy Policy explains the measured interactions and data minimisation.
Your analytics choice
Turning analytics off stops our tag's subsequent measurement and clears the analytics cookies that our code can access. It does not erase already collected service-side data. A supported browser privacy signal keeps analytics disabled even if you press the enable button.

Supplier demos
Playing an embedded demo contacts the supplier. Its cookies, software and choices are separate from this page's analytics switch. Following an operator link likewise opens a separate service. Blocking third-party storage may prevent a demo from working.
Managing and understanding your choices
Your browser can block or clear cookies and local storage. Clearing Lupita storage resets remembered preferences, including an opt-out. Read the ICO guidance on storage exceptions for UK requirements. A statistical-purpose exception has conditions; this site does not claim that its present Analytics setup qualifies.
